As Harold MacMillan is alleged* to have said when asked what is was that caused governments to change direction, “Events dear boy”.
Well COVID-19 is certainly an event – which may or may not cause the government to change direction – but which has certainly inspired me. So it seems that my previous announcement of the cessation of blogging activities may have been premature.
I hope you will find something here to at least pass the time and at best provoke some debate.
